The Foreign Commercial Service Section of the U.S. Embassy in Qatar provides a range of services to U.S. firms, from counseling on the business climate to preparing comprehensive reports on potential business partners. Qatar and the United States belong to a number of the same international organizations, including the United Nations, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and World Trade Organization. Qatar is a member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the Arab League and is an observer to the Organization of American States.
1- Administrative Assistant (Current Employees of the Mission – All Agencies) (FMS Administrative Assistant – Training Support)
Salary: QAR ﷼113,774

Doha, Qatar
Job Responsibilities:
A- Responsible for assisting the Office of Military Cooperation (OMC) International Military Training and Education Manager.
B- Coordinates training courses for the Qatar Armed Forces.
C- Assist in administering American Language Comprehension Level Placement Tests and English Comprehension Level Tests.
D– Liaise with Qatari Armed Forces Training Officers to recommend training opportunities to fulfill training requirements; provide assistance with course requests, and screening potential candidates for training in the United States.
E– Generates Invitation Travel Orders using Security Cooperation Training Management System.
Job Requirement:
A- Two years of experience in any component of administrative work is required.
B- Two years of college studies is required.
C- Level 4 (fluent) Reading/Writing/Speaking English is required.
D- Must be able to obtain a Qatari Driving license in order to drive to and from Qatari Government offices for meetings and training needs.
