1- Teaching Assistant
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Job Responsibilities:
A– Planning collaboratively with the classroom teacher using an agreed system and the PYP planner.
B– Supporting individuals or groups of students during lessons as directed by the Classroom Teacher.
C– Encourage the students to be independent learners through use of simple strategies e.g. questioning; modelling; using multiple resources representing multiple perspectives; pursuing open-ended inquiry and real-life investigations.
D– Ensure a smooth start and end to the day by being proactive and using initiative to support the Classroom Teacher and students.
E- Assist the Classroom Teacher in the positive behavior management of the class.
Job Requirements:
A- High School diploma or equivalent.
B- Prior experience working with school aged children preferred. Preference is given to those with work experience in an accredited elementary, middle or secondary school.
C- Enthusiastic willingness to work with children.
D- Strong oral and written English communication skills. Arabic language skills are beneficial.
E- Ability to promote and follow School policies and procedures.
