1- Senior Perfusionist

Doha, Qatar
Job Responsibilities:
A- Assists in supervising activities of junior staff and jointly assumes responsibility for patient care.
B- Undertakes considerable independent judgment with direct impact on the patient’s health, well-being and satisfaction within authority and own job scope
C- Functions independently to follow Departmental Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
D- Communicates with appropriate personnel regarding work activities.
E- Reviews and evaluates patient charts prior to procedures in which they are involved.
F- Safely initiates and terminates cardiopulmonary bypass independently, exercising his/her own judgement in the management of the patient
G- Independently provides and administers cardioplegia delivery by preparing the proper solutions, priming the system, and ensuring the mixture is delivered at the correct temperature, pressure, ratio and volume.
Job Requirements:
A- Bachelor’s Degree in Cardiovascular Perfusion or related subject.
B- 6+ years post certification/license experience in pediatric and/or adult/pediatric perfusion.
C- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge.
D- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
