Job Purpose:
To provide Safety & Risk discipline specific engineering services to Worley and its clients, and technical support and supervision within the discipline and to other disciplines by leading a discipline team.
Job Responsibilities:
A- Builds positive working relationships with external parties such as the customer, suppliers, and contractors.
B- Supports proposals by developing the discipline execution strategy, estimating costs, writing proposal content, and presenting to customers.
C- Ensures recognized offshore engineering practices applicable to safety & risk design are adopted within the discipline.
D- Hazard identification, risk assessment and quantification.
E- Quality Assurance – work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.
F- Provide advice to Project Engineering personnel & Management on all aspects of risk reduction, mitigation and safety engineering matters.
Job Requirements:
A- Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
B- Experience with Reliability/Availability Studies for offshore projects.
C- Pipenet, PHAST, SAFETI, PHA Pro, Flaresim, Detect3D (optional), exSILentia (optional).
D- Minimum 15 years design experience within the oil and gas industry, with last 5 years’ at least, leading a team of safety discipline engineers and designers.
E- Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment.
