1- Traffic Safety Officer

Job Responsibilities:
A- Inspect a particular phase of temporary traffic management roadworks to ascertain the layout conforms to plans and specifications and standard methods of work.
B- Prepare reports and related correspondence.
C- Reports incidents of noncompliance to codes and standards, and may recommend corrective actions.
D- Follows up to confirm implementation of corrective actions.
E- Maintains records of safety audits and inspections, as well as required follow up actions.
Job Requirements:
A- The candidate ideally to have achieved a qualification in civil engineering or suitable accepted equivalent including approved vocational training in the field of Traffic Management and/or conducting Highway Safety Inspections with a minimum of seven (7) years experience on major highways or local roads.
B- Will accept LANTRA or NRSWA trained.
C- Should have detailed knowledge of Work Zone Traffic Management requirements, experience to.
