About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- Senior Pipeline Engineer

Job Description:
Provide technical support to projects. Provide technical services and technical support in the area of discipline engineering for all assigned engineering projects and ad-hoc support as required, in order to achieve the required technical quality and integrity of work while considering project objectives in terms of safety, time and cost.
Job Requirements:
A- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
B- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
C- 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years in Oil & Gas industry, with an international consulting company, EPIC contractor or Operating Company. Possess sound fundamentals in his discipline area. Shall possess very good technical skills in his discipline. Shall possess very good technical skills in his discipline
D- Skill / knowledge of International, Shell DEPs and/or QP standards related to his area of expertise.
E- Proficiency in engineering software for design and installation of onshore pipeline systems.
