About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.

Job Description:
In this role you will support the development of IT Professionals across QatarEnergy. You will combine your expertise and experience in IT with your passion for professional development to build IT capability across the company. Partnering with senior Functional Leaders and Subject Matter Experts, you’ll define and roll out Competency Frameworks, Learning Programmes (leveraging the 70/20/10 model) and Communities of practice.
Job Requirements:
A- Degree educated in IT and/or Human Resources (or equivalents); Professional qualifications in IT and/or Human Resources are welcomed.
B- 15 years minimum experience with at least 10 years in the energy industry.
C- In this role you will be willing to grow and develop the role as the business needs change and are able to work strategic challenges with senior stakeholders as well as deep dive into operational issues.
