About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1-Sr. Commissioning Engineer
Department: CRUDE & REFINED PRODUCTS MARKETING

Doha, Qatar
Job Requirements:
A- B.Sc. Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from an internationally recognized University.
B- Membership in a recognized professional engineering association (or institution) is preferable.
C- Minimum of 12 – 15 years’ experience of relevant construction & commissioning experience in Oil & Gas major
onshore/offshore projects/multi-package portfolio (from Project Concept, FEED, engineering, construction, commissioning
and handover), of which a minimum of 7 years as a Operation Readiness & Assurance and/or Sr. Commissioning Engineer
in a supervisory capacity on a major project with a reputed engineering consultancy, EPIC contractors or Oil & Gas
Company.
D- Experienced in developing operation readiness, pre-commissioning and commissioning plans, defining and managing the
coordination programme / scheme with Operation and Maintenance Representatives.
E- Experienced in the implementation of Industry best practices and Company’s systems, processes and standards.
F- Experienced in Mechanical completions practices and standards, technical specification and standards.
