About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- Environmental Technician (CHEM PLANT)

Job Description:
Support Environment & Waste Management division by gathering field data that confirms the environmental status of the Refinery operations inclusive of the Chemical Plant. Inspect the installed facilities, ongoing contracts and project related works to ensure that set conditions are followed. Inspect waste generation and disposal activities. Monitor process units, pipelines and tanks for leaks under Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) program.
Job Requirements:
A- Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
B- Relevant courses in Environment and waste management.
C- 5 years experience in Environment Technician (Site) in the Refinery/Oil and Gas Industry.
D- Working knowledge of internationally accepted environment standard and requirements.
E- Knowledge of a wide variety and environment surveillance tools and sampling technologies/procedures.
