About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- QA/QC Specialist
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Job Requirements:
A- The candidate should be an engineering graduate, preferably in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering from an
internationally recognized University.
B- Minimum 18 years experience in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry in a highly technical environment and QA/QC
management of engineering projects of multi-discipline in nature. Recent 5 years experience should be in key lead role of
managing and guiding a team working on project or corporate QA/QC.
C- Exposure on evaluation of company technical quality standards and practices is essential and should be conversant with
IOC/ National/ International Standards and Industry best QA/QC practices.
D- Experience as lead auditor, possessing skills for identifying, planning, organizing technical & quality assurance audits of
major and critical O&G projects. The candidate shall be familiar with technical and quality management systems.
E- Should have effective leadership skills, team building, time management and conflict management.
