About Role:
We are seeking a talented Proofreader/Editor to join our Publication Team, in this role you will be responsible for proofreading technical, operational and Regulatory materials for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, usage, consistency, and brand voice. Review and markup written work, such as Operations Manuals, Training Manuals, Notices, Internal Memos, Articles and other internal documents.
Job Responsibilities:
A- Check written text before they are published to ensure they are accurate, read well and follow in-house style.
B- Focus on style, fact checks and consistency make suggestions for re-writing if required and add or remove words, phrases or sentences to improve the reading of a text.
C- Translate draft and concepts into effective messages by writing clear, engaging original text.
D- Continually raise the bar on creativity by writing high-quality text with a focus on writing descriptive, clear, concise, compelling, and grammatically correct information.
Job Requirements:
A- Minimum 4 years of editing/proofreading experience.
B- Bachelor’s Degree in English or Journalism is preferred.
C- A passion for hunting typos and correcting grammar.
D- Possess strong command of the English language, spelling, grammar and usage.
