About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- Project Engineer (Offshore Projects)
Department: Operations Engineering – Offshore
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Job Purpose:
To provide technical support in the development of new projects from initiation to commissioning/hand over stages for all QatarEnergy Offshore projects (PS-2, PS-3, Al-Rayyan, NFA, Halul Terminal, and NSS) Ensure that these projects are executed in accordance with QatarEnergy’ s Operating, Safety, and Manning Philosophies.
Job Requirements:
A- The job requires a minimum bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
B- Must be knowledgeable on the use of computer applications.
C- 10 years’ experience in Petroleum industry operations, projects, and commissioning, with at least three years involvement project management.
D- In addition, three years’ experience in Offshore Oil and Gas operations and production, including Terminal Operations is an advantage.
