1- Senior Project Controller
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Our Middle East operations has an exciting opportunity for a Project Controller to join our Doha office in Qatar.
Job Responsibilities:
A- The Project Controller role is an integral part of our business and provides project management support during Proposal Development and Execution phases of a project’s life cycle.
B- This role will report to the Project Controls Lead with support to the Project Managers to perform duties.
C- Managing and assisting in WBS and cost estimate development.
D- Constructing project schedules, which involves:
Collecting and entering major milestones, activities and interdependencies into the scheduling tool (usually P6)
Grouping activities in accordance with the WBS or other codes as require
E- Creating and managing jobs and sub-jobs (work packages) in the GHD financial system.
F- Managing and assisting in project forecasting.
G- Ensuring data integrity between the project scheduling and costing databases.
Job Requirements:
A- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar project controls role in the engineering consulting or construction industry.
B- Tertiary qualifications (e.g. IT, Engineering and/or Business/Accounting).
C- Proficient in the use of scheduling tools (including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project).
D- Project Earned Value Measurement (EVM) experience and understanding.
E- Strong analytical skills – to ensure accuracy of reporting/invoicing, perform cost variance analysis and data traces.
