Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- Planning Engineer
Department: Industrial City Operations (RLIC)

Job Description:
Reporting to the Lead Planning Engineer, the Planning Engineer shall be responsible to direct and supervise the functions of Operations Planning, Maintenance Planning, Central Planning, Outsourcing Planning and to coordinate with other Sections to ensure that all RLIC facilities are properly supported by necessary resources, plans, materials and budgets to ensure safe, reliable and cost effective operations of the RLIC Plants.
Job Requirements:
A- B.Sc. in Engineering from an internationally recognized university, preferably with professional membership in a recognized engineering society / institute.
B- 10-12 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry including practical experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, work control, contracting and budgetary & cost control procedures.
C- In-depth knowledge of planning tools, techniques and philosophy.
D- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, specialized planning software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, APM, SAP and other related software.
