Job Overview:
The Photo Lab Specialist will manage a Photo Lab in primary duties of taking photos for Service Members, Command photos, passports and visas photos. Work in conjunction with the MWR office in support of MWR Events by providing, desktop publishing, photographic, video graphic, and audio documentation for Installation events as requested.
Job Responsibilities:
A- There are two major areas of this job; event or project photography/ videography, and studio photography.
B- Event or Project Photography/ Videography 25%
Video Content Creation 05%
Command Photos 15%
Graphic Design 10%
Editing Photos/ Video 25%
Other official photos 10%
C- Event photography/videography provides documentation support of ceremonies, performances, and major post or unit activities, as well as special events.
Job Requirements:
A- Qualified applicants should have 5 years’ of experience in graphic design, still photography and videography, as well as post-production suites for photo and video products.
B- College degreed preferred/High School diploma required. Must have and maintain a local driver’s license.
C- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
D- Must be highly proficient using Adobe Creative Suite software with focus on Light room, Photoshop, Premiere and Illustrator. Must be proficient using all manner of DSLR and video equipment.
