Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- Panel Operator
Department: PRODUCTION (REFINING)

Job Description:
Operate assigned units safely through Distributed Control System (DCS) from Central Control Building (CCB) or other control stations; monitor the process parameters, alarms and take appropriate corrective action to make on-spec product and safe unit operation. Establish communication and coordinate with the Supervisor/ General Operator and Operator#1 for safe start up, shutdown and emergencies of the assigned units.
Job Requirements:
A- Higher Secondary Certificate or Equivalent.
B- 7 Years of operations experience in relevant units of Refinery / Chemical Plant.
C- 2 Years technical training or equivalent.
D- High level of concentration, anticipation, Surveillance / vigilance, and analysis skills.
E- Firefighting/First Aid/BA/H2S training.
