Job Responsibilities:
A- Publishing and keeping current a site telephone directory.
B- Managing and distributing to all customers by e-mail a quick reference guide on telephone operations and features.
C- Call direction and call transfer between DSN and local phone lines.
D- Directory assistance.
E- Support callers from other locations in SWA and shall act as centralized operators to assist other bases with directory assistance. The Switchboard Operator III will be responsible for contacting independent sites to obtain updated phone directories as necessary.
Job Requirements:
A- High School Diploma.
B- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a telephone operator handling overseas telephone calls, personnel locater service, commercial information services, customer support, conference calls, emergency calls, and maintaining call accounting databases.
C- Experience as a telephone operator on switchboard consoles.
D-Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
