1- Lead Mechanical Engineer

Doha, Qatar
Job Purpose:
You will provide mechanical engineering services on large or mega projects to Worley’ and its customers’, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.
Job Responsibilities:
A- Planning of the execution of the Mechanical discipline’s activities to maintain project schedule.
B- Manage quality and consistency within the discipline.
C- Provide technical direction, control and supervision for engineering and design within the discipline.
D- Resolution of discipline technical issues.
E- Preparing discipline personnel-hours estimates for new proposal and development of deliverables lists.
F- Manage discipline resources together with the Project Engineering Manager.
G-Interfacing with procurement and construction.
Job Requirements:
A- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
B- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
C- Minimum 15 years experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas related Mechanical Design and Engineering.
D- Performs as a professional Mechanical Engineer for projects and plant modifications from Front End Development through execution / commissioning and start-up.
E- Minimum 5-10 years experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas Project Delivery as an Umbrella Contract lead Mechanical engineer function in a multidiscipline Workforce.
