About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- Logistics Planner (Support Offshore)
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Job Purpose:
To coordinate, plan and schedule all helicopters and vessels (total of 40 operating daily) in support of Offshore Drilling, Production Stations and Halul with personnel, materials, water, diesel stores and bulk supplies, and coordination of other marine activity (e.g. rig move) for all oil companies operating offshore in the State of Qatar, considering the daily operational priories of each company and to monitor helicopter and vessel performance in order to maximise efficiency whilst ensuring at all times a safe operation.
Job Requirements:
A- Bachelors Degree in a related field of study.
B- 5 years’ experience in programming of supply vessels or helicopters or similar operation within the oil and gas industry.
C- Fluent (level 6) in English both Verbal and Written.
D- Team player showing individual initiative, responsibility and integrity
