1- Logistics Coordinator (Global Sports Event Qatar 2022 – Accommodation Services)

Doha, Qatar
Job Responsibilities:
A- Assist the Assistant Group Director of Logistics in setting up a system to effectively control project logistics. Devise and implement procedures in place.
B- To understand the logistical task and devise a strategic, tactical logistics plan in response, to meet the needs of ensuring smooth distribution and delivery of all items.
C- Plan and implement procedures, managing project elements in entirety.
D- Work with the Assistant Group Director of Logistics to develop innovative goals and objectives.
E- Manage system/process improvements and initiatives for logistics operations related to local distribution, drayage, logistics and warehouse management (there will be a team in charge of warehouse management, the role is to coordinate with them) which includes creating models, analyzing, and recommending changes to the existing logistics solutions to drive greater efficiencies in service and cost
Job Requirements:
A- 5 years of proven work experience working in logistics.
B- Relevant Industry Knowledge in the Middle East, preferable.
C- Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
D- Developing and nurturing important supplier relations.
