Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- Safety Officer (PTW)

Job Description:
Manage and maintain the HSE aspects of RLIC or MIC Permit To Work (PTW) System to ensure compliance to QP HSE standards and regulations. Plan and monitor the effective compliance to the PTW requirements to ensure safety of people, environment and assets within RLIC or MIC responsible areas.
Job Requirements:
A- 8 years relevant practical experience (e.g. safety practitioner) preferable in oil, gas or petrochemical environment Fluent in English.
B- Computer Competency in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
C- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent communication, administration and supervisory skills and be comfortable working in multinational environment.
D- Higher National Diploma in Engineering, Safety or Science or equivalent (e.g. Diploma in Safety or NEBOSH Diploma).
