About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- HSE SPECIALIST
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Job Requirements:
A- Bachelor Degree in an Engineering discipline from an internationally recognized University. In addition, NEBOSH or
equivalent certification is required.
B- Minimum 18 years experience in HSE Management functions and exposure on HSE for major Oil & Gas and /or
Infrastructure projects of which at least last 5 years in similar HSE Senior position for projects in reputable Oil & Gas
Companies or EPIC Contractors.
C- Wide exposure in various Safety Studies such as QRA, HAZID, HAZOP, Knowledgeable on Major Accident Hazard
Management (MAH) and Environmental assessments.
D- Knowledgeable on development and implementation of HSE Targets and Objectives, Key Performance Indicators, Statistics
and Performance Monitoring.
E- Familiar with OSHA standards and established international codes and standards.
F- Experienced in providing safety management and supervision to a team of HSE personnel.
G- Experienced as auditor in key and critical HSE compliance audits, inspections and reviews within Department and
Contractors.
