Job Summary:
This senior role requires strong partnership with all internal & external stakeholders in handling highly complex contract arrangements. The job has a focus on enabling & implementing strategy where it involves overall planning, developing & sourcing all sub-contracting functions effectively; meeting all the operational, organizational and departmental business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
A- Provide support to the Head of Contracts in all contract management activities in support of Corporate and Business functions such as but not limited to Strategy development.
B- Ensure all contracting activities are undertaken in compliance with Company policies, procedures and guidelines and meet legislation and audit requirements to minimize any potential audit exceptions, partner claims or court actions.
C- Conduct and support commercial and contractual negotiations, including preparation of the business case and briefs for the management.
Job Requirements:
A- Bachelor Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering. Alternatively, a Degree in Law, or Business, or Contract Management and coupled with commensurate experience.
B- 8 years shipyard, or oil and gas, or process industry experience.
C- Knowledge and understanding of Contracts and Procurement processes.
