About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.

1- Senior Foreman (Static Workshop)
Department: HALUL TERMINAL
Full Time
Doha, Qatar

Job Description:
Directs and participates in the skilled maintenance of various types of activities of welding/fabricating and final execution of all offshore based static maintenance work for Halul and Production Stations. Maintain upkeep of consumables, tools and material for use in static workshop.
Control and ensure the quality of the fabrication and welding activities are carried out in accordance to QP rules and regulation and to maintain a good housekeeping.

Job Requirements:
A- Completion of Secondary Technical (12 years) education, followed by 2 years full time training in the mechanical fabrication and welding trade (equivalent to Diploma.
B- Should have certificates on welding procedure in Gas, Arc, MIG and TIG welding to ASME 9 and BS4871 standards.
C- Should have 12 years varied experience on fabrication and welding in the oil industry and chemical field.
