About Qatar Petroleum:
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminum. QP’s strategy of conducting hydrocarbon exploration and development is through Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) and Development and Production Sharing Agreements (DPSA) concluded with major international oil and gas companies.
1- RESERVOIR ENGINEER
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Job Purpose:
Conducts site inspections with regard to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and ensure compliance by monitoring the
conditions prevailing after the electronic Permit To Work (PTW) has been issued and other routine activities carried out at
Refining Operations (Refinery & Chemical Plant) premises.
Job Requirements:
A- A minimum of 2 years direct experience in general Petroleum Engineering related work required.
B- A minimum of 3 years of “hands on” experience in reservoir engineering.
C- A minimum of 3 years of “hands on” experience in reservoir modelling.
D- Experience in pressure transient analysis, horizontal well technology, reservoir surveillance, and water flooding strongly
preferred.
E- Expert knowledge of reservoir modelling and reservoir fluid properties.
F- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
