1- Category Manager (Global Sports Event Qatar 2022 – Accommodation Services)
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Job Responsibilities:
A- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors.
B- Placing appropriate orders to ensure product availability meets demand.
C- Ensure product availability.
D- Research and development of new products and services for the project.
E– Maintaining all documents, files and listings up-to-date and performing duties in the most efficient manner; in a way that they can be checked at any time for information or audit purposes.
Job Requirements:
A- Previous working experience as a category manager for a minimum of six years.
B- Strong knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles.
C- Ability to analyze and develop accurate conclusions to support category decisions based on key data.
D- Strong people management and persuasion skills to manage and influence at all levels of the company.
E- An understanding of the market and consumer insights and trends. Familiarity of the Qatar market is highly preferable.
