1- Water Design Engineer
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Our Middle East operations have a great opportunity for a Water Design Engineer to join our Qatar operations. This position will suit an experienced water design engineer with a track record in design, project delivery and client relationship management.
Job Responsibilities:
A- Responsible for preparing an outline and detailed civil engineering designs and producing technical and commercial specifications, design reports, drawings, and schedules.
B- Client liaison and business development.
C- Preparation of tender submissions including proposal cost and time estimates.
D- Liaison with municipalities, utilities, and other consultants for information, as required in pursuit of approvals and general coordination tasks.
E- Capability to coordinate with the other multi-discipline project managers, teams and sub-consultants.
F- Supervision and mentoring junior staff, providing technical and professional mentorship to assist in their development.
Job Requirements:
A- Degree qualified in Engineering or Science and from an internationally recognized university.
B- Experience in the field of water, storm water and wastewater design.
C- Strong understanding of contemporary hydrologic and hydraulic modeling practices underpinned by proven experience with AutoCAD, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Info-works and surge analysis software (or similar software).
D- Experience in project management. Monitors and controls project budgets and schedules, initiating any vital action to achieve established financial targets.
