1- Electrical Engineer
Full Time
Doha, Qatar
Job Description:
A- To be successful, you must be a qualified MMUP registered Engineer.
B- Minimum 10 years’ mixed experience of construction supervision in the delivery of (at least two) large residential, commercial, educational, medical/hospital and infrastructure developments.
C- Experience as an Electrical Engineer in delivering megastructure design & build projects.
D- Supervise quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
E- Knowledge and understanding of QCDD, Kahramaa, Ashghal and local authority regulations and guidelines.
F- Review of contractor’s shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international standard methodology. Experience of design review is preferred.
G- Attending to Inspection Requests (IR’s) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
H- Sound understanding and implementation of Authority codes and applicable standards including Qatar Fire and Life Safety Codes.
I- Monitor the testing & commissioning activities of the Electrical, ELV and LV systems. Conversant with the tasks related to Building Completion Certification stage and Authorities inspections & approvals.
J- Strong documentation skills, detailed understanding of alignment to QA and construction.
