Education Specialist
Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

- Conducts frequent fact-based animal presentations and guided tours for on, off-site, special events and experiences
- Promotes the theme park products and activities available to our guests
- Works closely with the Education Support Manager in order to deliver excellent, transformational zoological programming, ensures offerings are relevant and compelling to today’s audiences in content and delivery
- Operates independently with minimal supervision while providing incredible guest service and innovating new experiences
- Monitors guests and animal safety in coordination with the Animal Husbandry team
- Promotes products, services and activities to the guests
Job Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in customer service/guests facing roles
- Excellent customer/guest interaction skills
- Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
- Good public speaker, with the ability to readily adjust to audience
- Good computer skills, including MS Office applications
- Basic knowledge of educational principles and instructional design models
