Job Responsibilities:
A- Develops job performance requirements, lesson plans, training schedules, instructional methods, and instructional media and curriculum, and evaluation instruments.
B- Coordinates training program efforts with shift personnel, Army agencies and local emergency response agencies. Develops contacts and leads for training resources.
C- Provides instruction to firefighters, Army personnel or civilians as required.
D- Performs fire ground/emergency management functions, Safety Officer or other positions as required.
E- Manages FES Training program and is responsible for the development of the department’s annual training program per DOD instructions.
Job Requirements:
A- High school diploma or equivalent.
B- One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
C- Must pass and maintain entry-level physical examination in accordance with NFPA 1500 and NFPA 1582 respectively.
D- Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport and Driver’s License (able to drive manual transmission).
E- Minimum of (6) years’ of job experience as a Fire Chief. Candidate must possess a current stateside drivers license. In addition, must be able to obtain a local Qatari driver’s license.
