Job Description:
A great opportunity to join the Group Medical Division. The successful candidate will lead the Medical Commission Laboratory Section. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: reading, diagnose and reporting illnesses based on laboratory test results. Provide administrative oversight of the Medical Commission Laboratory Unit, maintain the relevant and necessary quality control and safety programs, and provide educational and development support to junior medical staff.
Job Responsibilities:
A– Develop and review the Laboratory Section’s operating standards, policies, and procedures and provide the necessary training to relevant staff.
B– Lead the day-to-day Laboratory Unit operations by ensuring timely and optimal Medical Commission Laboratory service delivery.
C– Identify and report illnesses and infectious diseases based on laboratory and clinical findings.
D– Correlate and confirm lab results and diagnosis by examining patients and obtaining a medical history.
Job Requirements:
A- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience.
B- 8 years post specialization experience.
C- Intermediate Life Support Certification (Mandatory by the MOPH).
D- Certified in Clinical Pathology and/or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
