1- Civil / Structural Engineer
Full Time
Al Udeid, Doha, Qatar
Job Responsibilities:
A- The Civil Structural Engineer provides engineering services in support of the design, construction, operation, and lifecycle maintenance and contribute to major facility improvements, renovations.
B- Provide support and civil/structural knowledge for facilities planning, programming, design, construction, and equipment installation for required Project facilities and infrastructure.
C- Designing projects through development of scopes and estimates, reviewing quotes and recommending equipment and materials, and facilitating design reviews with operations and maintenance personnel.
D- Utilizing economic thinking when evaluating alternatives, equipment, vendors, and contractors.
E- Assists senior management in developing and validating project scope and fee, budget and scope of services during the marketing and contract development process.
Job Requirements :
A- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent experience related to job duties and functions.
B- Four(4) or more years of civil/structural and design engineering work experience on a U.S. Government/ Military installation.
C- Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems.
D- Advanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
E- Advanced CAD drafting skills.
