Job Description:

Responsible for the efficient and quality handling and/or processing of all cargo, courier and mail within an assigned area of cargo warehouse/airside operations to achieve service delivery and efficiency targets.

Job Responsibilities:

Direct a team through the handling and/or processing of cargo, courier and mail activities in accordance with safety, quality and efficiency standards. Provide safety awareness briefings to assigned team so that work is carried out safely. Inspect, verify and count goods at every point of delivery, acceptance, breakdown and build-up to ensure that goods conform to relevant standards and update information in Skychain with shipment details to enable customers to track the status of their shipment. Monitor the delivery times of cargo from the ramp to the warehouse and subsequent processing to assure quality standards in respect of customer service detailing deviations in order to maintain and enhance product quality.

Job Requirements:

10 Years schooling or equivalent. 2 years experience in a cargo/logistics environment. Demonstrable knowledge of aircraft handling, ramp handling, cargo terminal handling procedures High level of knowledge and demonstrable competence in Good Distribution Practice (GDP) acquired through training and experience.
