1- Cargo Transport Driver – QAS Cargo

Job Responsibilities:
A- Collect and transport cargo to various airside locations paying attention to items that require specialist handling to be carried out in line with operational procedures, safety and security.
B- Carry out Pre Trip vehicle inspections and report on serviceability of equipment.
C- Carry out accurate recording of freight locations using Hand Held Device at each pick and drop location.
D- Carry out safe working practices in order to eliminate mishandling, incidents and accidents.
E- Implementation and awareness of Special Handling Products including Perishable and Pharmaceutical products.
F- Drive and Operate equipment to be in line with company Health and Safety guidelines.
G- Ensure that all transported shipments are handled in line with company and departmental SOPs.
Job Requirements:
A- You are an ideal candidate if you have basic literacy, numeracy skills, English communication skills along with High School Qualification (e.g. O level, Year 10, min compulsory education).
B- Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
C- Its an added advantage to have a valid Airport Vehicle Operation Permit.
D- Must have Home country Light Vehicle License.
E- Holding or able to obtain Qatari Driving Light License.
